Our Mission
The FIRE Fastpitch travel softball program offers an opportunity for girls to play softball at a more competitive level. As an athletic program, we emphasize the importance of balancing family life, school work, and athletic activities. We stress discipline and dedication and foster our players’ passion for the game of softball.
Our History
Started in 2011 as the Dyer FIRE, this program went on to become the Illinois FIRE. During this time period, we started a program in Griffith, IN called the Sparks, which allowed young rec ball players the opportunity to play travel ball. This program was the beginning of what is now Panthers Fastpitch. Some Panther players have now become FIRE Fastpitch players. FIRE Fastpitch is now re-ignited for the 2025 season with NSA HOF Coach Chris Breymeyer leading the program.
